Kay Optical' experience in overhauling and repairing optical instruments is unrivalled due to our long and diverse experience.

Kay Opticals workshop at Morden handles all ages and makes of binoculars, telescopes (terrestrial and astronomical) and other optical instruments (incl. Ophthalmic). Whether the work needed is a repair or full strip-down overhaul, we always carry out the work as the manufacturer intended. Modifications, such as short-focusing a binocular can be carried out. 
Zero-grade nitrogen is used to purge instruments when appropriate.

Turn-round time is a week or two but where, say, a birdwatcher or optician needs their equipment urgently, we do our best to complete the work in a day or so. Repairs come and go by personal caller, Parcelforce or optical courier.
